Came here to celebrate a birthday dinner on a Wednesday weekday. Surprisingly the place was full to the max but we were able to get seated in a few minutes with our reservation. They gave us complimentary champagne upon arrived which kicked off our night along with a small frozen shot. The drinks were refreshing and opened up our appetite. We got the Korean cauliflower, steak & sushi, and tuna bowl. All were decent but the steak was a bit tough. My friend liked the sushi more than the steak... this is a cool place to hang out before a night out with the perfect lux ambiance. I'd say the drinks were better than the food.

Just left an amazing dinner at My favorite Manhattan Beach restaurant/Bar, Joey. Simply the best time out any night of the week. This place has the vibe, service and food that will guarantee you'll be fully wined and dined! I must say our server Melissa was super attentive, personable and remember our recent past conversations. This is the best service in the area! It was an added special touch when the manager, Cierra, popped by to check in on our experience. That's how Joey remains the best option at the Village. Keep up the good vibes! Marc

When you arrive at Joey, you are greeted with a glass of champagne. My wife received almost a semi full glass (she doesn't drink and asked the person pouring to stop) lol. As I got seated late, I received none. I asked the lady in the front lobby behind the desk for a glass; she poured a slither taste, nothing like my wife or others who came in after. Just an observation. The atmosphere at Joey is upscale an inviting. The music makes the room happy an upbeat. Everything is sleek, clean, and modern. Our server Rasheed was excellent. Our menu choices were explained before we ordered. The appetizer Lobster and Shrimp Sushi Tacos were delicious. The Prime Bone-in Ribeye was excellent. The Hand-Pressed Burger was excellent. All meals were tasty and full of flavor. Although the Woodland Hills location is our favorite, we will be back at this location soon.

Cajun Blackened Chicken, 5/5. Despite reviews, the chicken was just a little dry, BUT, that was a good thing. The kale salad and potatoes were doused with sauce and it complimented the chicken very well. I finished the plate clean and I don't even like salad and sauces. I would def recommend but I would try other options since they all look good and I think I could find something even better. The interior is very nice and it's a mix of families and friend groups of all ages. It's moody and not too loud. Our waiter was great too, very nice and attentive with our waters.

My server Ethan was EXCELLENT... very kind, attentive and had the BEST service I've experienced at Joeys. When you go to Joeys ask for Ethan as your server.

The lettuce straps are divine and the service is great. Jessica is adorable, helpful and hilarious.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in manhattan beach. The service is unmatched. The staff cares about your experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing cocktails, food and service. Definitely delicious dishes, beautiful presentation of food. When I think about celebrations, Joeys Manhattan's is the spot, always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding.

Good spot to chill with a group if you're looking for a more upscale environment. I've been to JOEY in Canada before, but this was my first JOEY in the US. I came with a group of 3 others for happy hour on a Monday and had a good time. Their happy hour is offered Sunday to Thursday 3-6 pm and 9 to close and includes both food and drink items. This location in Manhattan Beach is located in the middle of an outdoor shopping area. There's plenty of free parking in the garage nearby. I made a reservation a couple beforehand for happy hour and was seated promptly after arrival. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Upon checking in, we were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne which I thought was a nice touch. I was really looking forward to getting a bellini, since I'm obsessed with Canadian bellinis. Sadly, we were informed by our server that they were out of the bellini that day, so I didn't order a drink. Some of my other friends ordered drinks, but even at happy hour pricing they were $17, so I don't think it was worth it. At that price, it's better to order regular cocktails and not the slush cocktails, which as we found out only come with a small amount of slush. It's not like the whole drink is a slush as we were expecting. We shared a couple different items from the happy hour menu: Duo of dips ($9) Truffle parmesan fries ($11) Chicken lettuce wrap ($18.50) Crispy tuna roll ($19.25) Everything was generally pretty good, but the chicken lettuce wrap was my favorite. There was plenty of flavor in the dish. I only wish that they included more lettuce wraps as we ran out. Service was fantastic. I accidentally knocked over my glass of champagne as they were serving the food and our server replaced it immediately.

I brought my best friend to dinner to celebrate her birthday. It was her first time at the restaurant, and she truly enjoyed herself. We arrived a litttle early for our reservation, and they were able to seat us quickly. The sparkling wine is a great touch. Our server, Mera H., helped us decide on what to order, and she did not fail. The food was delicious, from the Korean cauliflower wings to the steak and sushi. To top things off, the manager, Cierra, checked in on us to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. She was an absolute sweetheart. 10/10 would recommend!
